- If you are registering a player to participate in the Seattle Parks & Recreation League, you must complete the online registration form for Seattle Parks and Recreation as well, which can be found HERE. Include Jefferson/SCAA as the Community Center, and disregard the payment request on the form (payment to SCAA using the registration portal covers this fee). Applicable players will not be registered until these forms are complete. These forms are NOT REQUIRED for CLINIC participants.
- Team placement is not guaranteed. All requests must be submitted during the registration process in “Additional Notes” or emailed to scaayouth@gmail.com BEFORE the registration period ends.
- Fourth grade players should register for the Cubby League for game play experience. Third grade players should register for Clinic and will only be added to a Cubby team on an as-needed basis in order to have enough players to form a team; third grade families will be contacted after registration ends if spots are available on a Cubby team.
- Due to limited gym space, Clinic will be limited to only 60 kids. Additional kids will be put on a waitlist and contacted later if space becomes available. Clinic is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:45pm at Aki Kurose MS.

Why Join SCAA?
For more than 50 years, Seattle Chinese Athletic Association has provided a structured basketball program for all ages of inner city minority youth, including safe and caring environments and positive role models. SCAA believes these kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. This organization aims to bring families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. Look forward to events such as our SCAA Social & Banquets, Hoop Fest & 3-on-3 tournaments, and the Winter Jamboree. Finally, we have more opportunities for relatives and players to volunteer at our events and during games.
Let’s create memories together!
REGISTRATION FAQS
High school boys who play for their school’s junior varsity or varsity basketball team are not eligible to play for ABL.
