Why Join SCAA?

For more than 50 years, Seattle Chinese Athletic Association has provided a structured basketball program for all ages of inner city minority youth, including  safe and caring environments and positive role models. SCAA believes these kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. This organization aims to bring families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. Look forward to events such as our SCAA Social & Banquets, Hoop Fest & 3-on-3 tournaments, and the Winter Jamboree. Finally, we have more opportunities for relatives and players to volunteer at our events and during games.

Let’s create memories together!

REGISTRATION FAQS

High school boys who play for their school’s junior varsity or varsity basketball team are not eligible to play for ABL.  High school girls who play varsity are not eligible to play in Parks Department games.  However, both boys and girls who play junior varsity/varsity may participate in SCAA tournaments and events.

If they would like to participate in SCAA non-league events (Winter Jamboree, CACA Portland Invitational, Al Mar Invitational, Hoopfest & 3-on-3) register during the registration period. If they make the high school basketball team, you may request a partial refund. The fee for participating in special events is $50.
